Refund Policy

At YouTubeGen, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. This Refund Policy explains how and when you can request a refund for your spark purchases.

1. Refund Eligibility

You may request a refund under the following conditions: ✅ Eligible for Full Refund: • Request is made within 7 days of purchase • Less than 10% of purchased sparks have been used ⚠️ Eligible for Partial Refund (with recalculation): • Request is made within 7 days of purchase • Between 0-10% of purchased sparks have been used • The refund amount will be calculated after deducting: - Used sparks (at standard rate) - Payment processing fees (non-refundable) - Administrative fee ($1) ❌ NOT Eligible for Refund: • More than 10% of purchased sparks have been used • More than 7 days have passed since purchase • Account has been terminated for Terms of Service violations

2. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund: 1. Contact our support team via chat or email at support@spody.app 2. Provide your account email and order ID (found in your email receipt) 3. Briefly explain the reason for your refund request We will review your request and respond within 2-3 business days.

3. Refund Calculation Example

Example of a partial refund calculation: Purchase: Creator Pack ($29 = 12,000 sparks) Used: 800 sparks (6.7% - eligible for partial refund) Calculation: • Original amount: $29.00 • Used sparks value: 800 × ($29 / 12,000) = $1.93 • Stripe processing fee: ~$1.14 (non-refundable) • Administrative fee: $1.00 Refund amount: $29.00 - $1.93 - $1.14 - $1.00 = $24.93 Note: Processing fees are charged by Stripe and cannot be recovered.

4. Processing Time

• Refund requests are reviewed within 2-3 business days • Approved refunds are processed within 5-10 business days • The refund will be credited to the original payment method • Your spark balance will be adjusted upon refund approval

5. Non-Refundable Items

The following are NOT eligible for refunds: • Sparks already used for image generation • Free sparks received upon registration • Promotional or bonus sparks • Accounts terminated for policy violations • Purchases made more than 7 days ago • Subscription fees for partial months (cancel anytime, no prorated refunds)

6. Chargebacks

If you initiate a chargeback (dispute) through your bank instead of contacting us: • Your account will be immediately suspended • You will be required to pay a $15 chargeback fee • Future purchases may be restricted We strongly encourage you to contact our support team first. We're happy to help resolve any issues directly.
